Got the update for Antrim Escape 2 a couple hours ago. Crazy updates! New comics, maps and whole bunch of new puzzles to a secret exit. This is so exciting! I'm still very stuck but working hard. Here are my findings. Let me know yours and we can beat the game together before St. Patrick's Day!
Golden A -> Light the new greenish-blue liquor bottle in the living room. You will see an A on the wall. The liquor bottle has the pattern of the buttons on the green door in balcony. Try to make an A out of the buttons on the door. And you'll get the A after some animation. If you can't get the A, do the buttons as following:

Golden 4 -> Get a mouse cookie (new item!) from the cabinet in living room. Put out fire in fireplace with water bucket. Then place the cookie there. Leave fireplace for owl to munch on mouse cookie. Pour liquor on wood and set the owl on fire with matches! This one cracked me up.
Golden 7 -> Probably the easiest one. Just need to pour water into the pot with dead flower. Which then you can grab some mud with Trowel from the wet mud. Not sure what to do with the mud yet though.
Golden 10 -> Another easy one. It's on the door where you escape the room for the original ending. (Make sure you get out once! new ending and comics!)
Golden K -> In conservatory where you can see the fountain and two flower pots. On the right, you can see the Golden K. Don't know how to unlock it though.
Other new things:
- The metal tube beside the green balcony door. You can put the metal ball in it but it just drops down. Maybe you need to somehow connect it to the horizontal tube.
- There's a bottle of salt by the liquor bottles
- You can now turn the 3 Egyptian discs in conservatory. First you need to get the golden plate in living room beneath the liquor bottles. After inserting it into the slot under the Egyptian discs you can turn them. The button changes color when you turn the discs but I am not sure how to decipher it yet.
- There's a blue paper in the closet beside fireplace. It shows something about the zig-zag door but I don't know how to use it yet.
That's all I know so far. Will keep updating throughout this weekend!

ReplyDeleteI figured out that after you sent the owl up the chimney and you put out the fire, Emma starts making hooting noises and the owl eventually comes back down with another letter.
ReplyDeleteAlso you use the salt to make the dense piece of wood float. It gives you new water levels which then reveal a green button which plays a melody but I don't know what to do then.
There is also a letter in the maze game. One of the holes has a dot in the middle of it, if you get the ball in it, you get another golden letter.
ReplyDeleteI just figured out the wet clay. Take out one key. The door will semi shut. Place the clay down. Zoom out. Now take put the keys back and you have a new key.

Sorry for triple post... But like mike said in the area where there is a fountain and the 2 flower pots there's a K in the far right vent you use the key on the vent... Oh you have to bake the key (with the fire) first .

ReplyDeleteCan't remember where, but I found a pole. You attach this to the pipe that's on the wall of the balcony. Then splash on some flammable liquid and use the matches to set it on fire. Then use the tongs to bend the pipe to fit the vertical pipe. Drop the silver ball into the completed pipe to push out a letter

The number sequence in the fireplace refers to the water levels required to play the tune in the first room. I'm not sure what to do next. I've already tried filling the tubes with according to the sequence and playing the tune, but nothing happens.

You can also get another letter by using the soap bar in the water fountain. Use it twice to reveal a letter ;)

ReplyDeleteI notice on the water tube sequence, if you begin the song correctly the green button lights up. But if you empty the tubes to put the next sequence in, the light goes out. :(. I think you have to play the entire song and keep the green button lit to open the box.
True, and I also noticed that if you play the first 6 notes and press the green button the tune starts from the second set of notes

ReplyDeleteYou have to play the entire song WITHOUT taking away water. You can add water but don't drain any. Here's how:
The first 5 notes is 6-7-7-0-1
Use only the first tube for the first three notes. Fill it up to 6, tap it once, then add one more water level. Tap the same tube two more times. Tap the second empty tube for the fourth note, add one to that, tap again
Be careful which tubes you add to, because you can't take water away. Took a bit but I finally got it. :)
Now I only need two more and I can go to sleep.

What's with the green and red gems? At the place where u placed the paper and ring on the piano, if u put one of the green gem at the little circle on top it shows some green light shown on the paper. And the same for red gem but I dunno what they mean

ReplyDeleteOh I figured it out!! for the green and red gems after u put them on the piano, rmb the sequence of lights that appear. U cnt see both together so u have to rmb which colour light comes first. Then after that go back to the music tubes where the green and red buttons are and then press the buttons according to the sequence u memorised. This will give u 69 joined tgt which u can use the hammer to break.

The balcony door means pushing the tiles on the wooden door to form the letter 'A' as described above, not the patio door that you're walking through.

Okay I have completed the secret ending, but I cannot remember the sequence of all the letters obtained so I will use 1st letter, second letter etc. Here goes:
ReplyDelete1st letter:
Play the board game with the marble again. This time, notice that there is a hole with a white dot in the middle. Try to get the marble into that hole instead of the hole with the golden key to get a letter.
2nd letter:
Complete the whole game once. When you restart the game, you will continue where you left of, with the door for the orginal exit open. Near the top of the opened door beside the fire place, press on letter T which is near the top.
3rd letter:
Golden letter A - Use the matches to light up the bluish-green liquor bottle in the living room. A symbol 'A' will appear. Go to the door in the balcony where the squares can be pressed. Make this pattern and the letter A will appear:

4th and 5th Letters:
ReplyDeleteFrom the cabinet in the living room where you got the green snake, get the mouse cookie. Extinguish the fire in the living room with water from the basin. Place the mouse cookie there. Shoot the owl with the marble to try to make it come down to the cookie. Once it is in there, pour liquor into the fireplace and light it up again with the matches. Extinguish the fire again. 4th letter should appear. Emma will call for the owl. Wait for a few moments and the owl will come down with another letter.
6th letter and 7th:
From the flower pot with the wilted sunflower, water it with water from the fountain and 6th letter will appear. Then use the shovel and dig up wet clay from the pot containing that sunflower. Get another blue piece of paper from the cabinet containing the green snake and mouse cookie. Go into the conservatory and face the zig-zag door. Remove one key. Zoon in into the hole and place the wet clay there. Zoom out and remove the other key so the door closes and squashes the clay. Then put one key in and zoom into the small space again to retrieve the key. Open the door fully and place the clay key into the fire. Use tongs to remove it. Open the vent at the bottom right side of the conservatory on the right of the flower pot in the screen with the fountain (The screen has 4 vents) You will have another letter.
8th letter:
Press around the right leg of the piano to get a metal tube. Go to the balcny whee you are facing the big metal door. Fit in the metal tube horizontally. Then use the liquor bottle to put liquor on it and then set the metal tube on fire. Use the tongs to bend it and then place the marble on top of the tube. Another letter will come out together with it.
9th Letter:
ReplyDeleteYou can now turn the 3 Egyptian discs in conservatory. First you need to get the golden plate in living room beneath the liquor bottles. After inserting it into the slot under the Egyptian discs you can turn them. Go to the living room facing the liqour bottles and the numbers and letter around the creepy eyes. Notice that there are 3 letters or numbers that contain the eqyptian symbols like those in the conservatory. Take down the three numbers/letters and look at the table containing poker chips and poker cards in the living room. At the side of each card near the border and below the number there are arrows shaped like the suit. Look for the cards which correspond to your letters or numbers. And then look at the arrows. You may have to rotate the iphone/ipad so that you view the card straight. Then rotate the egyptian plates to the direction of the arrows. Then press on the button with the colour and remove the golden plate, a lteer will pop out.
10th Letter:
Using the soap mold, go to the fountain and click on it. Wash your hands several times with the soap (twice i think). Then click on the soap mold and zoom in on it. You will get your 10th letter.
11th letter:
There's a bottle of salt by the liquor bottles. Place the salt onto the tube in the conservatory which has the wood that would not float. Then fill the tube with water and remove the wood. Follow the instructions on the wood and fill the tubes with water. A green button will appear. Go to the fireplace and extinguish the fire. Using the shovel, scrape at the back of the wall to reveal 4 sets of numbers. You have to play the notes in sequence from top left to bottom right. From antoher poster: You have to play the entire song WITHOUT taking away water. You can add water but don't drain any. Here's how:

12th and 13th letters (6 and 9):
ReplyDeleteIn the garden with the screen with the tubes, near the centre of the screen is a green gem. Light up one of the liquor bottles in a living room and it will explode, leaving a red gem. Then go to the piano, and if you notice, there is a small hole above the book right above where you placed the ring. Place the green gem there and note where the position of the green spots. Then remove it and place the red gem on it. Also memorise the postion of the red spots. Then combine the red and green spots together (in your mind) and remember (from top to bottom) the colour of the spots. Mine was (from the top closest to the hole where you placed the gem) green red green red red red red red. Go to the tubes in the conservatory again where there are the red and green buttons and press the buttons in sequence. (After you have completed the previous step (the one where you pressed on the tubes according to the order shown in the fireplace) By now the green button should not play music when pressed. When you are done, the box should open revealing 2 letters stuck together, 6 and 9. Use the axe to break them up.
When you have placed all the letters and numbers into the wall, press on the creepy eyes several times and it will swirl opening a black hole, and get ready for a rude shock.

Ok I was having major issues with the Egyptian plates. To properly interpret the direction of the arrows on the cards, you need to turn your ipod/iphone/whatever to where the dot on the card is on the top side of the card. :)

ReplyDeleteEven with Kestner's detailed explanation and Sara's clarification, I still can't get the Egyptian plate part. I turn them in the direction they are supposed to go, press the button, pull out the golden plate and nada! It's really infuriating.
ReplyDeleteAlso, on the owl/fireplace set of numbers, I never got the first one from extinguishing the fire, but the owl brought one when he came back. I've lit and extinguished and relit the darn fire so many times, but no dice. How can I get that missing number at this point?

I look at the cards and use the direction of the smaller "suit icon" under the number in the corner of the card. I return to the plates, turn them to the appropriate directions and nothing happens. I don't get it. i did so good on the rest of the game. I'm stumped! please help!

ReplyDeleteI have the winged thing in the first disc hole (this corresponds to an 8 on the wall which gives me the 8 of hearts on the card table with the point of the heart under it's number pointing north east), I have the mummy in the second hole (this corresponds to the 7 on the wall which gives me the 7 of hearts on the card table, with the point of the heart pointing west), i then have the dog head thing in the last hole (this corresponds to the Q on the wall, giving me the Queen of Hearts on the card table, with the heart pointing east - this is the only one of the three cards that has a black dot on it, so following Sara's advice above the heart points west too).
I've tried rotating the heads of all the characters to match the points of the hearts, i've tried rotating all of the characters so their feet line up with the points of the hearts (i've tried all of this with the dog head character reversed as per the black dot too). I've also tried ignoring the sequence i have the plates in the wall and just using them in the order of the numbers on the wall. I've also tried rotating each plate the number of times the character was afainst on the wall, using 10 for the queen). i've even repeated all of this resetting all the characters to vertical and removing and re-inserting the plate into the slot between each button press.......What am i doing wrong?????

I have the six and the nine. I used my axe to cut out the number on the egyptian plate. When I went to my supplies on the side of my screen pick the axe to cut apart the six and the nine, it wasn't there...so I can't separate them. Has this happened to anyone else? Don't know what to do.

ReplyDeleteyou start with 54621 to reveal a green button, then start the tubes at 67701. once you have that play the leftmost note, 6, and the green button will change color a bit. at this point you can only add water to play the rest of the notes. if you mess up the button will change back to green. also, u need to leave the blank golden plate in the slot to be able to turn the other 3 plates.
i'm still stuck on trying to decipher the rotation of the plates based on the cards on the poker table...
A tip about the plates. If u know two of them. Its easy to just try your way with the last one. Turn, push the button, turn, push the button and so on... Also make shure the symbol is the right way. Look at the card. On the right side of the number u se the way it is suposed to be. Under the number u se the way you should use it! Turn your phone so the NUMBER faces the right way. Then look at the symbol. Good luck. Sry about my english :)

ReplyDeleteThe Egyptian plates, as mentioned above, follow the rotation pattern of the cards on the table based on the character on the number on the cabinet. I was looking at the wrong orientation of the cards, because I guessed the wrong location of the dot for cards with the dots hidden. So, another words... keep trying and you'll get it. If you figured out which direction the plates should be pointing and nothing happens after you press the button, rotate the plates 180 degrees and try again, there are only 8 combination and eventually you'll hit it.
Help please. I got the 69 but don't know how to break it apart without the axe. I tried everything. Any one know what to do?
ReplyDeleteEgyptian hints: When translating the cards to position view suits in the correct position to get where the pointing. So if you have a heart, the point of the heart is the feet and the two humps of the heart are the head. Also, probably reverse your diamond position if you're having problems. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteWell I finished and got a pop-up saying I'm done. On the main page the chest is open, but the red check in the storyline pulldown is not checked implying there's more to do. I noticed there are still 2 doors in the study that have not been opened. Also the map of the patio shows two items on the far right, but there's no way to get them. And what's up with the paintings on the patio? So many questions left unanswered.

Pull out Right Key (colourful) at interlocking door and he doorway narrows to a gap. Place clay (dug up from sunflower pot) between gap. Pull out Left Key and the doors closes. Put back both keys to open the door and a clay key falls from the crack.
The clay key would be too soft to fit in the vent lock. Light fire at the fireplace and toss in the clay key. Pick it out with the tongs. The harden key unlocks the vent.

ReplyDelete(1) As previous player suggested, Trial and error, only eight combinations.
(2) the 'heart' symbols on the card, The 'up' direction is the head of the heart not the sharp edge bottom.
(3) The cards with no black dot, always rotate the card, by iphone, until the Number/Letter mark to the left upper corner, thus this the real direction of the symbol

ReplyDeleteThe green gem is between the plants under the middle window. It's on the same side as where the tubes are. Zoom in, look closely or just tape away till you hit it. It's very well hidden, but it's doable.
ReplyDeleteThe numbers to solve the water tubes with the green button is that you have to but out the fire, and then use the trowel and scrap the wall behind the wood, there they will give you the sequence, but do not drain any water. EXAMPLE: the numbers are 67701 31312 20046 43504, so first pour 6 in to the first tube and unselect the pail, then tap it to make the sound, next, tap on the pail and tap on tube 1 again to make 7, and tap it twice, and so on...you should result in TUBE 1:7 TUBE 2:6 TUBE 3:5 TUBE 4:4 TUBE 5:0

ReplyDelete1) If there is a black dot on the card, adjust the card position and ensure that the black dot is at the top of card before reading the sign.
2) If there is no black dot on the card, there is no need to adjust the card position to read the sign.
3) The heart shape is upright with feet as the pointed end.

I only have to get the golden K in the vent. I can't seem to get the clay though. Is the sunflower pot the one next to the tic-tac-toe pot? Because when I try to water the sunflower plant, nothing happens. When I try to use the trowel on it, nothing happens. I don't know how to get the clay in order to extract the key. Please help!
ReplyDeleteFor those stuck with the egyotian plate, if u have a heart suit among the 3 cards, do note that the the heart's "head" is the direction where ur egyptian plate should be facing.
ReplyDeleteDo not follow the direction that the pointed end of the heart is facing coz it's wrong...
Took me awhile to get that too....

What happens when you finish and press the eyes?
ReplyDeleteOh and for the eygptian plates:
1)Beside your number is a symbol (so remember that symbol)
2) go to where the cards are
3) the numbers that have a symbol beside it are the ones you need to find in the selection( you might need to rotate your iphone so you could see the card straight)
4) find the arrow somewhere on the border of the card
( so for example if it faces this way --> turn your plate this way)
So okay so here is the part where it got me stuck :)
Remember the symbol beside your number?
The plate that has that symbol with the number that you found is the one your turning.
When you finish turning the plates press on the coloured button
( mine was purple :) ) and take the plate you inserted out. It should have the number stuck on it
Where do u find the red gem? I think I'm over looking it.

ReplyDeleteSuck with the Egyptian plates too. Read all the comments and still can not do it. Even tried brute forcing it, but with 3 plates, lots of possibilities. Could to with some clear pic's or a You Tube vid. Does anyone want to visit me in Estonia and show me how?

ReplyDeletePlease note that each game will have different location of the Egytian pics on the card number on the wall. Also the letter/ number you have is different, like i got the #5 from the music box but I remember somebody got the J from that place.
ReplyDeleteEgytian pics: note the 3 number which have the egytian pics from the wall, put it in order. Let say the wing's pics on the 2, look at the card 2 on the table and see the direction below the number, turn the sign on the wall to that direction. Good luck.

i can't get the music tube. first set i did but how to tap second set 20046. when i tap 2 it's ok, then i didn't pour water and tap again the yellow light is turn off. when zero what i should do.

Ive done everything and only 1 letter left, its the metal tube thingy, ive clicked the legs of the piano millions of times but theres nothing in there :(
ReplyDeleteWith the pipes by the green door, pick up a grey rod from the carpet, on the piano side, connect it to the horizontal tube, poor explosive liquid on it, set it on fire, it heats up and glows. Bend it with your fireplace tongs and it should bend and connect to the vertical tube! Drop the grey ball in, and it would roll out with the letter Q!

Whats the deal with the glowing tablet? Have completed both endings but don't seem to have used it since the owl landed on it and it started glowing? Any ideas? Johnny
ReplyDeleteI can't water the pot to get letter or clay and my Egyptian plates seem to have frozen altogether. The light went purple and the plates stopped spinning but I got nothing out. Did this happen to anyone? I can't move on without clay.

ReplyDelete:( somehow I clicked incorrectly and the marble box was removed from the fireplace. I still have the box in my inventory but I can't do anything but look at it. Anyone else have this issue? Or have a suggestion on how to fix this without replaying the entire game?
